Revolve and DINE

When I was young, daddy used to tell me that there is this restaurant that revolves 360 degrees. Each time we passed by Keppel Road, he would point his finger to this old looking tower. I'm intrigued by how diners get to have a different panoramic view each time they look out. Had always wanted to give the restaurant a try.

So, imagine my excitement when boyfie's brother invited us to dine there as part of his birthday treat. Super happy!
Looking sleepy. Rushed back to his place early morning after my night shift just to have a 2 hours nap, and I'm out for this lunch.

When I first stepped into Prima tower, I was taken aback by how old it looks. Boyfie and I can't help but to feel as though we are heading into some factory canteen for lunch. The restaurant is located on the 7th storey, and I was told that the other 6 storeys are used for some chemical process. Which explains why there was this strong unpleasant odour. Having said that, the restaurant is actually free from the odour. Thank God!

The restaurant revolves around slowly, and it actually caused giddiness. My head was spinning and at one point in time, I spilled tea all over the table. Spell clumsy.

Prima Tower Revolving Restaurant offers Beijing cuisine. They are known for 2 signature dishes, namely, Peking Duck and Shredded Scallops with Fish and Egg White. The Shredded Scallops with Fish and Egg White was awesome. I have no idea how this dish was prepared, but miraculously, it tasted like crab. Tasty! Au contraire, the Peking Duck was bad. Poor boy tried Peking Duck for the first time, and had it blacklisted for the rest of his life. Overall, their food were average. Would I go back again? No. I'm just there for the experience.

Did I mentioned that I was disappointed with the view too? Not much of a panoramic scene, really. What I saw: Vivo city, St. James and lots of PSA stuffs.

A bird's eye view. Another reason why I love my new camera. Miniature effect makes the world look like lego.
